- Note detailing your pet’s idiosyncrasies, routine, and habits. Include feeding instructions.
- Bowls, food and treats (adequate amount for the length of stay)
- Medicine, with clear written instructions. If more than one medicine please have them in separate containers
- Leash should be in good condition, without tears and fraying. Include a harness or walking collar if your dog uses one.
- A tag with your name and address should not be on the pet. We place a “Pets Are Inn” tag on the dog
- Toys and bedding (please send no more than 2-4 toys)
- Grooming tools, if they are needed
- Crate/Kennel if your dog is used to one.
- If you are worried about your pet missing you, you can send a shirt or blanket that holds your scent to give them comfort.
For cats (In addition to above):
- Litter (enough for stay), pan and scoop
- Scratching post or box if your cat is not declawed (we strongly recommend that you trim front nails prior to boarding)
- If your cat is a known plant-chewer, please send along cat grass or another alternative
- If you give your cat hairball medication, please send this along with written instructions regarding frequency and amount.
- If you do not own your own cat carrier, please let the Pets Are Inn office know in advance
