Exclusive Territories

Through careful market research analysis, Pets Are Inn assigns exclusive territories to each new franchise owner and helps them attain maximum market penetration.

Training

We provide lodging plus 4 days of intensive training for the Franchise Owner (one person) so that you are ready when you board your first pet. The training consists of both hands on, experiential learning and classroom instruction. The training program covers operating skills, sales, marketing, pricing and other topics to be selected. Your attendance is mandatory for the training program. You may, at your discretion, invite one additional person to attend.

Marketing Methodology

Pets Are Inn assesses your market and its demographics to determine pricing, advertising, and marketing guidelines. As part of a franchise network, you will learn from the experience of other franchises what works and what does not work.

Operations Manual

You receive a complete operations manual that covers all aspects of operating your own Pets Are Inn business. This is the same manual we use to operate our own franchise in Minneapolis.

Buying Power

You will be a part of a large buying group rather than dealing simply as an individual business owner. You will be able to purchase supplies and promotional materials such as television commercials and videos that have been produced for marketing your Pets Are Inn business.

Computer System

As a member of the Pets Are Inn family, you will receive a complete computerized system. A tremendously powerful management tool that allows you to save time, and manage much more effectively. The system provides you with an online web-based reservation system that includes:

Insurance

You will be provided with complete business liability insurance coverage during your first year of operation by Pets Are Inn. Your Host Families pay a nominal amount for their coverage under the PAI Master Insurance Program.

National/Regional Meetings/Monthly Teleconferences

It’s important as a business owner to meet and establish relationships with other Franchise Owners. These meetings are more than social, although we do have a great time. Training in the area of sales, marketing, management, advertising, and how to handle crisis situations are some of the many areas covered to help you expand and grow your business.

It’s unfortunate when a long-time customer decides to move to another city. You have spent a great deal of time building a personal relationship with the customer and their pet. That’s the Bad News. But the Good News is having a Pets Are Inn located in the city where they are moving.

We receive a large number of inquiries from our website and our national 800 number from articles written about Pets Are Inn that appear throughout the country. Also, as part of our national advertising campaign, franchise owners are highlighted in local and community newspapers, not to mention being featured on television.
