Rates: Our pricing is similar to kennel rates, but we match and place your pet with a screened host family in a private home, where he or she will receive excellent care and attention. We are open 7 days, but we charge by 1/2 days; Our range is $30.00-$40.00 per day and there is a round trip transportation fee.

9 AM to noon - Saturday

Sunday: 3-7 PM
Pets are not transported on major holidays.

Cancellation Policy: Non Peak Reservations: New customers will automatically forfeit their $50 per pet non-refundable deposit. Notification three business days or less of the scheduled pick-up results in a charge of 50% of the total reservation charge.

Peak Time Reservations: The deposit will be forfeited if you cancel your reservation. If the reservation is cancelled three business days or less prior to the scheduled pick-up, 100% of the total reservation cost will be due.

Changes in Reservations: There is a $10 administrative charge if changes are made three (3) business days or less from the scheduled pick-up or drop-off date. A charge of $25.00 with less than 24 hours notice will be assessed.

Bio: Jerry has a B.S.B. from the University of Minnesota and a M.B.A. from the University of Southern California. After his career in the corporate world of sales, marketing, advertising, and new product development, he pursued his own businesses in the grocery industry as well as several other retail and service venues. Finally, he was able to purchase and pursue his passion…his love of dogs. Jerry owned two dogs, a black lab and a golden lab mix, during his children’s growing-up years. They have both passed on. Now he enjoys his job as a franchise owner in the Pets Are Inn business. He gets to be around a variety of breeds and temperaments and states that he has never met a dog he didn’t like! Jerry, his wife, and his daughter truly enjoy caring for these pets and welcoming them into the Pets Are Inn family.

Notes: There is a $50 non-refundable deposit required for each new pet and for each pet during our peak season. Please check with the office for those peak season times. All credit cards are accepted.
